so, the stand on the infiniapps magnet stand looses its suction to my dash when it gets too hot inside the car.
after falling off the dash a few times, i'm tired of putting it back on.
plus, the place i had it was a bit too far for my liking anyways.
so i took the stand apart and found that the magnetic part fits perfectly where our analogue clocks are!
and since my wife really thinks the clock looks outta place, its the perfect place to put it!

thanks for the replies guys 
didn't have to break anything at all
just unscrewed the single screw behind the infiniapps stand and you get the circle piece i have in the pic
then i just used strong double sided tape that does not leave residue to stick it on the clock!
thats it

do you by any chance know if the suction will work on the vertical place right underneath the CD slot?
the place where the microSD card is hidden for the nav?
i think that place would be best for me to have the phone.. but since there's a hidden cover for the microSD, not sure if the gaps at the microSD cover will affect the suction?

I don't think it opens my app unless it's open in my phone. For example, I play music from my Google Music and I can't access that music unless I open that app on my phone first. After that, I could then control it. Same thing for Songza, Soundcloud, etc.
