Very successful marketing strategy.

Niche is made by MHT which is the biggest wheels manufacturer in US.
They also made ADV1 wheels as well.

I would go for Japanese made cast wheels for that price
Japanese cast/forged wheels have reliable quality and manufactured to strict standards but at this moment, they do not have the "sexy" designs like CVT & Invert

A forged wheel is usually stronger and much lighter than a cast wheel. If you can afford it, I would get the forged wheel.

I would go with the forged wheels over cast aluminum, forged is stronger and lighter.

FYI the Directional Design of the Vossen CVT debuted before the Niche Invert, in Frankfurt Automechanica, September 2012.

Vossen are ok, but at their price point they are crap imho. why not save a little more and get quality wheels for your 40k+ car?

Before I begin yes, everyone is entitled to there own opinion however if you have never owned or inspected a wheel yourself then I'd hold back from making assumptions. That being said this can happen to any wheel no matter the brand, location it's made or material. Perfect example was at my cousins shop the other day and a set of very very high end wheels that were on a Lamborghini cracked...clearly they didn't let the owner leave again but under warranty the manufacturer replaced the wheel. So it doesn't matter what you buy for your 40k or 500k car. Depending on speed, height or weight of the drop or hitting an object can make any wheel crack. Again I'm not here to defend Vossen or any manufacturer for that point but it can happen no matter who makes the wheel or type. Look at any car accident or high end vehicle once speed is a factor anything and everything will break. Please do some research.

Vossen Precision Series are forged.. and the CVT are cast version influenced by Vossen's forged version. Incredibly beautiful wheel. OP wait for the VPS if you want forged.. or save some money and go for the CVT.. you will be happy.
