My 2nd gen is250 was obisidian and i loved it. When it was washed and detailed, nothing would beat its glossy wet look. People would stare at it in the parking lots. It was a daily chore to keep it clean but worth the rewards.

My current F (2010) is Starfire Pearl, love the colour and much less work to maintain.

Was time for a change for me.

Obsidian

As a former Smokey Granite Mica owner I loved that color ...even though I hated the name. Nebula is too light for my tastes, especially when a co-worker parked his SGM 2IS next to the Nebula Gray loaner that Lexus gave me. Don't get me wrong, Nebula is a fantastic color but it wasn't my SGM I loved. So for me, if it was a choice of Nebula and Obsidian, definitely Obsidian. The car looks great in any color though.

I say pick based on how feel rather than what logic tells you because you will find a way to make anything work if you love it enough.

Although Obsidian is always the best looking color when clean - Nebula ain't too shabby either. Just decide how much time you want to spend keeping it clean. I am too OCD for black. My car looks pretty clean when it's not, especially from a distance. And, I really like how it will take on different hues depending on the light situation.

That's an excellent point. I noticed that on my RX F-Sport, even more so than USB. Nebula Gray has a lot of depth
