Default HELP! Buying an 2014 IS 250. Toronto, Canada.

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and I'm looking into buying a 2014 Lexus IS250 F-Sport. This is my first ever lease and I wanted to make sure I did things right. I got quotes on insurance and I'm ready to make the purchase. I know how much I want to spend essentially but I just wanted an opinion from more experienced drivers.

So long story short, I need a car. My parents have been with Lexus for a long time and the new 2014 IS250 looks absolutely stunning. What I wanna know is, how much did you guys pay for your brand new 2014 Lexus IS250 with F-Sport Package?

I live in Toronto, ON, so any Canadians who can help it would be greatly appreciated. Heres what Lexus Downtown offered me right now:

2014 Lexus IS 250 AWD / F Sport Packatge

MSRP: $42900.00
Freight Air Tax PDI: $2050.00
Ride Green Cert: $734.20
Adjustment: $2237.48
Leased Vehicle Amount: $43446.72
Monthly Lease Payment: $469.03 + HST = $530.00
Maximum km: 80,000km/4 year term
Total due at delivery: $5543.50 after taxes.

What do you guys think? Is this a good deal or should I ask for more? They gave me AWD at the same cost as the RWD. Let me know what you guys think?

Thanks again for all your help!

Hey its not bad at all, my cusion recently picked up a 250 fsport for 65k out the door cause he bought extra warranty for no reason. Stick with the awd we keep getting bad weather in Toronto.

I have the exact same car/package and lease terms.

It's a so-so deal and you can get better. Plug in the numbers on lexus.ca such that the due on delivery matches your $5543.50 which means you're putting down $4423.50 on the lease - the monthly payment is $544.94. So bottom line is they knocked off $15/mth (or $720 off the entire lease). I got a much better discount and I bought mine on order last June before the car was even out, when prices were maxed. I bought on the west end GTA. You can send me a private message if you like and I can refer you to my sales rep I've had over the years. Great guy.
