Does anyone on here use a nexus 5 smartphone?

I am curious how it integrates with the nav/audio system. My iphone shows up as an iPod device but if I use a galaxy S4, I loose all functionality like being able to go through the typical iPod file system etc

How does the Nexus 5 work with our cars?

Probably same as your galaxy phone since they are both androids.

Yup it's the same. Tested with both my N4 & N5.

Works great. Its able to read the text messages whereas my old phone didn't have this capability.
