Hi,

I own a 2014 Lexus IS 250 AWD F-sport.

I can't seem to get the wiper blades to be in automatic mode?

Does the F-sport even have the auto wiper blades feature?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe the F-sports have automatic wiper blades. On the non F-sport models, you have to get the luxury package to have automatic wiper blades.

Right, F-sport do not have rain sensing wipers. At least not in USA I am told.

Even in Canada, with your far superior F Sport packages, rain sensing wipers only come on the non F Sport with either the Luxury or Executive packages.

Rain sensing wipers don't work very well on previous gen IS, but not sure about new one. Sometime it comes on by itself even without rain.

I missed that feature too. The rain sensing wipers work pretty good on my GX470.

It's a shame they decontented the F-Sport models so much. I'd take a look at one, but I need that range of tilt/telescope to get in and out without scraping up the wheel with my jeans.

I don't know about Lexus' rain sensing wipers, but we've had them on other cars and they suck. They don't work very well in light rain or misty conditions. We specifically made sure to not get them in our car.

I found them to be pretty good on my RX. Though I don't consider not having them on my IS to be an issue. It's not like it's THAT hard to turn them on and off when needed...
