Default My IS350 F-Sport Ships Tomorrow!

I ordered the day after Thanksgiving and the Lexus accepted the order on 20 Dec. My dealer emailed today and the car has been built and is expected to ship tomorrow 8 Feb. Anyone know how long it will take to get to port on the east coast? Anyone know what port it will come to if I live in Southeast VA?

I live in Philadelphia and my car shipped 12/2, arrived to the port 1/2, processed at the port on 1/13 then arrived to the dealer on 1/16. So u are looking at about 6 weeks. Your dealer should be able to give u a vessel arrival date and u probably need to add about 2 weeks to that to make it to your dealer.

Speaking from delivery to Canada, took 7-10 days to cross the Pacific and hit Vancouver. Then a few days at the port, and another week to hit Toronto (my dealer), and a couple days for dealer prep. Mine took about 3 weeks from ship date.

BTW, Congrats!

Shipments to North Carolina were through Jacksonville, FL. So you may have the same to Southeast VA.If you get the ship info, you can track it's movement on a daily basis. It took my car about 4 weeks to get from Japan to Jacksonville. And then another 2 weeks from Jacksonville to Durham, NC.

I just got the build date from the dealer for my car (Feb 20th), how long does it take for the car to ship after its built?

The "build date" is approximate. The car usually ships within a week of the day it is actually built that week.

So I guess I'm looking at 6 weeks! Let the countdown begin.

Hopefully I will get the ship name once it departs.
