14 IS 350F Shifter Popped out of Park TWICE
I just purchased the 2014 IS 350F and within 36 hours the shifter popped out of park. Once at the dealership for the sales rep and then the second time in my driveway, which caused the car to wreck into my 2006 Lexus IS350 that I was trying to sell. Easy to fix damage to the 2006 but the 2014 door was almost ripped off the hinges. They said that you have to make sure the pin is in place (or it is secure in park) before exiting the car. I call BS, there is something wrong with my car but they can't "recreate it" at the dealership. I have owed an IS for the last 6 years and I have never had to double check to make sure the car is secure in the park position.
Anyone had a problem with the shifter, pin or anything to do with the transmission?

Sorry to hear about your incident! Hopefully they can get it figured out.
With my 2002 Acura TL-S I got in a habit of putting the gear in neutral, put on parking brakes then put the car in park, especially when on an incline. I just didn't like the feeling of car rolling back/forward bit after car was put in park and also didn't know in the long run if it contributed to any potential issues to the tranny. Since 3IS has the same parking brake type it should be keep my strange habit going.
