Finally! Ordered my IS350 F Sport
Hi All!
I just got confirmation of my order:
2014 (possibly 2015) Lexus IS350 F Sport Ultra White w/ Black interior, blind spot monitor, and backup monitor. I opted to forgo the Navigation and Levinson, since I use my iPhone for directions and I typically listen to rock/country. If I listened to a lot of detailed music, e.g. classical or jazz, I would have opted for the Levinson. My ears just couldn't tell a drastic difference with rock/country.
The dealership is saying the vehicle will be delivered in approximately six months. Has anyone else ordered a vehicle? Does the time frame sound correct?

I do not know. That is just the information that they provided to me based on their past experience of ordering cars. They said it may even end up being a 2015 model.

I checked with my dealership in San Antonio again, and they are sticking by the 5-6 months estimate. For those of you saying it usually takes about 3-4 months, where do you live? Thanks.

I also order a IS350 w/o Nav for the same reason. My dealer quoted me 3-4 months when I ordered my car. Its looking like it'll be a little over 4 months before I get the car.

I ordered the day after Thanksgiving. Lexus accepted the order on 20 Dec and the car was shipped 8 Feb and expected to be in VA in less than 6 weeks.

Thanks for the feedback on your ordering experiences. Hopefully, mine with arrive a little sooner that expected 3-4 months instead of the projected 6 months).

Lexus accepts orders on the 20th of every month. If your dealer has made the order it should be confirmed on Feb 20th and the car should be built and shipped 6-8 weeks from then. It should be arriving at your dealer in June barring any issues or delays.
