Hey guys,

So I am running into this weird issue on my IS350. I have my USB drive plugged into the center arm rest and I have different folders in it. I always set the audio player to play all songs (with shuffle). Sometimes when I turn off the car, come back and turn it back on, the player seems to be stuck in the folder the last song was from (even though I had it play all songs previously).

Has anyone encountered this issue? How can I make the player play all songs by default? This is driving me crazy!!!!

so it only shuffles in the current folder? There is another shuffle setting called "Folder Random" which will shuffle all songs across all folders. Regular shuffle will just do it for that folder. When you toggle shuffle button youll see "Fold. Random" or something like that

Yes, it only shuffles in the current folder. I looked at my player today and you are right. There is Rand and then there is FLD RAND. I normally go to "Songs" tab and then play one song from there and select shuffle (RAND). Doing this messes up the shuffle when I stop the car and start sometime later. It is stuck in the same folder. Should I be selecting "FLD RAND" instead?
