I just dont understand people that say they drive safely over 100mph. The fact of driving over 100 mph is reckless driving no matter how safely you drive or even if no one else is on the road. Thats why there are rules and laws. Driving fast is all good but your putting others in danger too so do it on the tracks. That my 2cents.

It's dangerous, and it wastes gas... Unless it's at the track.

To each their own.. I rather have fun in twisty roads, than going 130mph+ on a straight road.

Ok then after you get pulled over, try to prove that it is safe and explain to that to the judge, see what he or she have to say. Good luck. Just because you think its safe doesnt mean its safe.

Here's a bonus tip for the future - laws do not have an a priori connection to safety or morality.

I'm just stating my opinion on the fact going over 100 mph. Do what ever you want, its your life. all I am saying is that is unsafe in my opinion.

Highest was 102 accidentally (thought I was doing 70), then I saw the gauge go all red and I slowed down :P

ive experienced that a lot as well. ill be going faster than I thought and had to slow down. you really don't realize how quickly this car can accelerate sometimes.

144. Toll road in Texas with 85mph speed limit. It was at one of the ends of the toll. Flat, no cars, clear skies. If I was going to hit any other living thing, it would have been a hog or something.

Some people take this thread to seriously. People drive recklessly whether you approve or not. Innocent people die of second hand smoke, doesnt stop many from smoking or change your opinion about smokers. Hell, you probably are one, or have a close relative or friend that is. Big deal.
