Welcome to the club . We should arrange for a meeting once you receive your car

Anyone know the bolt specs? Maybe I can fab something up with Home Depot parts
I am really tired of constantly looking over my shoulder. There were times when I had to make extra turn just to avoid police. I ended up just using zip ties. I didn't want to spend $70-$100 to get a tow hook, and plus it looks off with tow hook mount. Here is the picture if anyone is wondering.

Any issues with water getting into the tow hook hole? I'm concerned especially with the kind of winter we had last year whether that would cause any damage to the car itself. I like the grimmspeed product, really seems to do the trick.

The zip tie you used above looks just as good. Did you simply zip tie the plate with a plate cover right on the grille itself? Any worries that it may damage the grille?

I have my 2015 IS 350 AWD on order, should get it at the end of September in Atomic Silver.

This is the inside view of the tow hole for a regular 3IS and I am sure the inside structure is very similar for the F-Sport one.

Behind the towhole cover, there are some styrofoam and unpainted metal. So with that exposed, salt damage may be possible.

IS3FGuy,

Would it be possible for you to post a close-up picture of your license plate cover and zip tie? I want to see just how you went about doing it and whether it's simply to insert the zip ties around the grill and tighten.

AndyL,

Thanks for posting that picture. I agree, it seems there could be some longer term consequences of using the tow hook setup for the license plate cover.

In Markham, have insurance for around $1,500 per year (125 per month).

I'm 29 and the insurer didn't take my occupation, however I'm working in a family software company.
I should also mention its for IS350. All other insurers quoted me $1800 - $2400 but Desjardins was able to do $1500.

That's a super good rate. I was told Markham had the highest rates in the GTA.
I'm paying around $250/month in Toronto with a clean record and same age with Wawanesa
