I imagine putting on aftermarket wheels mean you probably lowered your car as well either via springs, coilovers, or bags, so I ask of you this question. What tire size did you go with in terms of sidewall width?

I wanted to put 30 on the rears, and they said it wouldn't be a great idea for the weight of the vehicle.

Just wondering what choices were made with some fellow CL members. Thanks in advance.

235/35/19 front
265/30/19 rear

Used to have
235/30/20 front
275/30/20 rear

30 series tires in the rear should be no probem

Assuming you're going plus one, 30's on the rear will be fine. You'll be a bit more prone to wheel damage with a skinnier sidewall, and ride quality may take a minor hit, but I fail to see the connection between the height of the sidewall and the weight of the car.

I thought the same. Guy at discount tire said they couldn't do that setup for me. I am going +1 with 8.5 front and 9.5 rear.
