Question How does one influence Lexus to offer IS 300h in US?

How can we create a list of those interested in an IS 300h, not currently sold in the US, to influence Lexus to offer the car in the US?
I have seen the IS 300h offered in right hand drive countries and on the FR and DE Lexus sites. Please take the poll

Coming from a CT, I had hoped the IS came as the 300h in N.America.

As a IS300h owner I can assure that the car is in another leauge compared to the CT. I've driven both.
The stronger electric motor and tuned gearbox in the IS makes a world of difference

Would actuallly be more fair to compair it to the old GS350h which i belive was avalible in the US.

While I would not buy one I do think it should be offered along with the other things we don't get here. I am not sure why we get such limited choice in the US, it stinks! As far as influencing them, I have decided that they don't care what we think or what we want.

I'd love to see Toyota bring one stateside, but Toyota won't budge unless they can be assured their margins are high enough. Toyota has become the conservative monolith that GM used to be, at least as far as the US market is concerned.

You want an F Sport with a memory seat? Move to Europe. You want a 3IS hybrid that will run with the 360HP Q50h? Move to Europe.

Keep in mind, that for many years (aside from the IS series Lexus), the closest thing you could buy to a sports car from Toyota was a RAV 4 V6--this from a company that 20 years ago sold a 320HP TT Supra in the states. This is one, very conservative marque (unless you believe that Corollas and Camrys represent automotive excitement).

So, unless the stars align perfectly for Toyota, we may have to wait a while for a 300h to come our way.

Thanks for the post. When I contacted Lexus, the reply indicated that they do listen. We both agree probably not much. However, I am not good with current social media so I am clueless on how to generate enough responses to create a critical mass that might get listened to. Any thoughts on a better or more visible post or polll?-Stephen

Now I would like an IS 300H even more in the US. Good performance and what are the mileage numbers for city and highway?
Can you get a version where the back seats fold down?

The seats rear seats fold down on the is300h. The milage is about 5 liters per 100 km in real life. Very little difference between city and highway driving because of the hybrid system.
The Stated consumption is 4,2 liters per 100 km in the brouchure.

Not a lot of big companies listen IMHO. My best guess would be if they were overwhelmed with people asking that question at the car shows. The best way is probably to get a few real, major car magazines to ask about it. Ballmer completely ignored many thousands of beta testers about Vista's stability and performance until a few journalists for major magazines brought up the same topics.
