IS Front end as exotic as it comes short of an actual exotic?
Recently I've really seen a ton of new IS vehicles and they really catch my eye, in a good way. One day I really decided to just stare at RastaRacer's car and it really hit me that the overall use of curves, sharp lines with the very original headlights and separate LED give it a true one of a kind near exotic look. There is no confusing this car for anything else on the road.
It really is a one of a kind front end and in a sea of sameness or cars being safe, this really is something different. Pictures IMO just cannot tell the story of this car, especially the dynamic front end, there is jus two much detail you see in person you miss in pictures.
I'm still shocked the car has a separate LED housing, that had to be a PITA to design, engineer and had to be costly compared to just slapping it in the headlight like every other car, including other Lexus.
Kudos to you Lexus.

I agree - its definitely special. To me it looks like a concept car that made it into production and didn't loose the styling. Its definitely a little exotic looking. Overall the car feels special. I test drove a $65K S4 right before it and the Lexus actually got me excited whereas the S4 was so "meh".

Your question wasn't specific, so I answered based on the F-Sport grille: it's exotic. I think the non-F-Sport is much less exotic and doesn't flow as well into the rest of the car.

While the two front ends have different grills overall the shape is pretty similar so I didn't feel the need to separate the two. I do agree the F-sport does seem more "exotic" compared to the more traditional grill with horizontal slants.

I love both front-ends but I opted for the Non-Sport front-end. The F-Sport grille is a little polarizing. Some of my friends like the F-Sport front end, some don't. Though, the Non-F Sport front-end is not as exotic looking as the F-Sport grille, it does have a more "classic" look that will age better and don't divide a lot of people. Some people can't stand the F-Sport front-end. Personally, I love them both but I ultimately opted for the Non-Sport model.
