No front plate so far, picked up the car in SA yesterday. Hopefully the front tag isn't an issue if becomes one Im sure it will be secondary to my Sooners Alum Plate holder.

So I got stopped today outside Navy Base in Norfolk... Cop said He stopped me because had no front plate... So he gave me warning then I went straight home and installed the GRIMSPEED tow hook relocation kit...

Yeah, I think it's a better option than putting it on the grille. I ordered one, and should get it next week! Until then, plateless! Lol.

My friend has a Black Chrome 'L' Emblem half plate for sale. Creates a very nice and elegant look. Good for those who has drilled their grill, or has a re locator.

In CA law they require to put lisence plate in font...but for me since i got the car about 3 month....i dont put it on and it make the font look MEAN and BEAUTIFUL

Thanks for the pics. Is there anything that goes in the tow hook hole to fill up the space?

The hole itself is conical, so there won't be any standing water. The bolt hole is inset enough that it's unlikely to be affected by weather. Just make sure you follow the torque requirement and use the anti seizing grease as in the instructions.

I was playing around with the thought of getting an extra tow hook cover and drilling a hole through the middle so I could still cover up the excess... I will keep everyone posted if I do end up doing this...

Have fun... and I just need to adjust it more towards the center in preparation for having factory fogs installed... as it is now, it sits and blocks some of the fog light hole... I will adjust up and toward the middle, but not to hide the eyebrow DRL.

Also, i am using a single spacer on the bolt, which seems to be just perfect for clearing the body because I didn't want it touching the body, either...
