I am in the market for some new wheels for my 3IS and have narrowed it down to the Enkei Raijin wheels and the TSW Nurburgring wheels. I have never owned a pair of either in terms of brand name goes so I was hoping someone could give me some insight on their experience with either.

Both are Rotary Forged and the 19x9.5 in rear weigh in at around 22.5 pounds, which is awesome for 19's. Both are also almost identical in price and style.

Vossen's seem like the all around CL favorites from what I've seen on here. They are nice, but not so much my style except for the CV2's. Even then, I don't want 20's.

Anyways, I really appreciate any input you guys have.

From those 2 choices, I prefer the style of the TSW better.

Both are pretty much the same. They are both gravity cast with roll formed wheel barrels to save weight. The Enkei are slightly heavier because the barrels are slightly thicker which gives them a little bit higher load rating. TSW are slightly more concave in the lower offsets. Six and one half dozen of another imo. Go with the color you like best. I had the TSW Nurburgring 18" in matte gunmetal (eventually I pc'd them Porsche silver) on my last car. They were good wheels. No issues.

Yea, I figured I'd get more Enkei votes. Only thing, their gunmetal finish is special order only... So we will see how that works out. Sales guy at a tire and wheel shop I visited was really pushing for TSW, and they are about half a pound lighter and about $20 cheaper per wheel. I don't care much about the $80 for the enkei, just surprised sales guy was really pushing TSW and it made me second guess.

He was probably pushing you because those are available unlike the Enkei u have to special order, get what you like

TSW's for me. I like the look of the center better. Cleaner looking in my opinion.

Do you have to put down springs on your car for these 19" rims?

I order my IS350 with the base 17" wheels so I can use them in the winter. I looking for summer wheels I can just install without any other modifications to the car. (18" or 19")

You can put 20's with stock suspension, but it would look weird if you don't lower it. 19's look nice with this new model, 20 is a bit overkill IMO. I'm also going with Tein S-Tech springs. But do as you please, all personal preference.

Just guessing but is the shop pushing the TSWs Les Schwab? They tend to push TSW a lot. As for which one (yes, I know it's a month old now ) I like the look of the TSW, but the Enkei will be a nicer wheel. You've got a nice car, don't skimp on the wheels.
