type1 rear and sides are nice!!! but the front is just way too busy... it kind of bites off of the c-class amg with the side gills and the regular c-class front day time running lights..

I ordered mine about 3 weeks ago directly from Aimgain. They sent picture this last friday and told me the delivery is ready and will be ship out after the holiday ends in Japan which is 1/6. I went with type 1 all carbon fiber and 5 pieces kit and asked them to color match for me as well.
Man I can't wait!

Ordering them straight from Aimgain is exactly the cost they listed on their blog. I believe complete type 1 CF 5 pieces was 330,000 YEN + 35,000 YEN for the muffler finish. Painting was 150,000 YEN. Total cost was roughly $4500 USD before shipping.
However the shipping will vary depending on where you are. I live in Taiwan so I'm only couple hours away from Japan. Judging by the size of the shipment picture they sent me, it will definitely not be cheap to ship overseas.
Probably better off buying from a vendor if you're in the states and paint it locally. I'm sure doing so will save you couple hundred bucks. I didn't want the hassle so I asked them to paint for me and clearcoat the CF bits before sending them to me. They're expensive I know, but the quality pays off.

can anyone help photoshop the 3IS with the factory/regular front and sides but with the type 1 rear? I'm very curious to know how large of a gap it would be from the type 1 rear's side profile lines to the factory sides skirts of the 3IS.
