F Sport wheels - touch up paint ??
Is there a paint available that matches the 2014 F sport wheels? Is the wheel color the same as previous years? Read on for the unfortunate story....
When mounting winter tires on the factory wheels today, the tire store chipped the paint on one wheel. They offered to fix it professionally, but I would have to be w/o wheels (and the car) for a couple of weeks while they refinished the whole wheel. I was doubtful that the repaired wheel would match the other wheels, so I got my money back for the mount/balance and decided to fix it myself.
To compound my frustration, they found a nail in the sidewall of the factory rear summer tire. I got the car on Saturday.....4 days and 384 miles later, I have a damaged wheel and a destroyed tire. Ugh.

Sorry to hear that man. I recently got a minor curb rash on my Fsport wheels too, 600 miles on the IS350F.
I think I will be fixing it through a professional with paint match as it is small. About $50-75.
I've read that others have said Duplicoat's Wheel Coating - Graphite works okay enough for a gunmetal wheels. Googled a pic below.

Went to a reputable shop today to get my winter tires mounted and I came back with two small chips (one on each tire) which I am not happy about.
I spoke to the owner and he said the wheels are extremely sensitive to any pressure such as the tool used to put the tire in. I guess the paint on the rims are extremely soft.
For those who are getting there tires changed, make sure the shop is extremely careful with them.

I have this very same issue with my OEM wheels too. Not sure how to get these "stains" removed other than to maybe have the wheels refinished.

Also, those stains^^^
are from a tire cleaner. Be careful what you use! it strips the protective layer off your rims and burns a a black streak in.
Juts use soapy water to clean and a glossy finish for the tire wall if you want.
