SO I thought i'd start this thread and see if we can any info about the fog lights



Lexus sewell has them for sale which is roughly 225 for the pair....

here comes the questions....


1) The fog lights DO NOT come with any harness. Are our f sport cars pre wired to just plug the fog lights in?


2) Where would the button go for the fog lights in the car? By the BSM button? Bc there are plenty of empty slots there..



anyone with this knowledge please let me knows as i have the fog lights but didnt want to start the project until i got more info

This is for the IS models with fog lights from the factory. This is not compatible with the F-Sport package.

I ordered the f sport bumper inserts and the fog lights off sewell correct that the ones I listed aren't them I copied the wrong link .....it cost me 300 bucks for fog lights and the bumper insert brackets shipped not bad at all beats the 1300 price on ebay rediculous lol

Reasearch is alway rewarding to your pocket lol two hours on phone and looking parts up saved me over 1k dollars

Sewell at some point said they would be releasing a plug and play harness for at least the 4GS. I'm thinking it'll probably be compatible with the 3IS also. JoeZ has a DIY thread in the 4GS section on the install which should be fairly similar for you.

I dont have a F-sport but this is awesome, i see people trying to sell parts for our car so expensive because they know its hard to come by with the car so new we just gotta be patient folks

Ill take a look at that.....from what sewell told me the cars already are prewired all you have to do is tap into it from the front of the car and under neath the dash board to install the button or lever which ever you choose.....

The one thing I hate about the auto community or anything for that matter when something is new people take advantage of people and charge an arm and a leg for something.....

EXAMPLE

when i bought my car they wanted 250 for all weather floor mats....

solution: Sewell got them for 79....now i will never buy again from my dealer.....

ebay had them for 600 bucks lol

I'm not trying to be rude.... But I have been researching this before the car even landed in the US..

You will most likely receive, the basic sedan Halogen Fog Lamps found on the regular 2014 IS bumper..
What are "Bracket, FOG Lamp mounting FSport " ? When FSport has no fogs here in the US..

Are you sure you know the amount of research or part numbers you are purchasing??

What covers are you using to cover around the proposed Fog Lamp ?

NONE of the parts sold on Sewell's site are the same JDM OEM Lexus Parts offered by Nigel... for the 2014 IS LED projector F-Sport Fog Lamps...

parts 52125a and 52125d is the F sport fog light brackets look at the diagram and match the numbers up with the parts below

part 52127d and c are just the covers we have on now.....

and the fog lamps i ordered are the f sport fog lamps from lexus
