invoice is not really invoice
The paper I was shown stated that my car invoice price was 44k.
Invoice is actually 42k according to Infiniti. (They called and asked for blue book value). Which is 39k for my car.

With that said, I hope you are talking about a loaded 250!

+1 . . as soon as I hit post, I thought about that. If you showed up at an Infiniti dealer and asked them to give a number on a Lexus, what do you think it will be? As low as they could go without sounding too out of line would be my guess. Those numbers may be way out of line. I'd be interested to see what someone with better knowledge says.

Infiniti knows because that's what Lexus told them. I gave them the Vin and Lexus pulled up the car info.
I originally wanted 41k for the car. But Lexus laughed and said, no, it's way to close to invoice.

What options did you have on your car? IS350 F Sport RWD fully loaded had supposedly invoice price of ~$45.5k.

You really believe what Infiniti told you about the price of a lexus?? If you're looking to sell your car or trading your car into infiniti theyre not going to tell you the true invoice price. My hunch says they will tell you something less than that so they will pay you less.

44,000 - 1,500 = $42,500
So they still make $500 if invoice is 42k.
