And I don't know, I feel like the side pics of my ride show a wheel gap in between what we see in IntegresS' ride on Super Down vs. Down springs, somewhere in the middle. Not as low as her Batmobile 3.0 on the Super Down but a little bit lower than it on the Down. Do you guys see the same thing or is it just me
If you look at rastaracer's build thread pages 5 and 6, he has the down spring prototype's installed. His drop looks similar to yours which is a 1.3 drop.
Check it out and see what you think. You may have gotten the wrong springs.
I've seen the super downs installed with 20's and the wheels tuck.

Hey everybody. Just clarified with my tire guy. Correction: My ride sits on RS*R Down springs, not the Super Down. Being completely honest, I thought we ordered the Super Down, but the order was changed to ensure a better fit with the aggressive setup we were going for.

My apologies!! So... my ride does indeed sit on RS*R Down Springs, and not Super Down springs. I've edited my previous posts with the correction. Sorry for misinforming!!!

Hope this explains the comments you guys had regarding the wheel gap.

I'm glad to know now for sure and still am very satisfied with the way it sits. I think if we had stuck with the original plan for the Super Down, there would have been rubbing issues. Since my ride is on the Down, I believe that's why rubbing has not been an issue for me.

That might have just saved a bunch of people from fender repair at the body shop! I was going to put 20's on the car and see how it looked before adding springs.

Thx for the update!

Of course! You're welcome. The last thing I want to do is post wrong information and misinform someone. Just glad that I was able to get this clarified!

It's about one and a half fingers width in the rear, and about two fingers width in the front.

No problem! Awesome. Good choice no matter which direction you end up going with

I'm looking for a NON Rubbing setup together with the VossenCV5's
So to clearify all your tire, rim & spring setup in one post in case anybody else wanno go with a safe setup, your setup is like this?

RS*R Down Lowering Springs
Vossen CV5 20x9 | 20x10.5 Offsets: 45 in the rear and 32 front
Tires: Front: 225/30/20. Rear: 255/30/20

Clearance between fender. Front 1 ½ - Rear 1 1⁄4

Have you checked if you have rubbing issues when your car is fully loaded? or do you think it would rub at all?

Theese wheels looks soo good on your car!

Thank you! According to my tire guy, that's the setup on my ride. Regarding the part about the clearance between fender (1 1/2 front, 1 1/4 rear), do you mean inches? Because the clearance isn't that big. It's about one and a half fingers width in the rear (so like 3/4 inch), and about two fingers width in the front (about 1 inch).

Take these specs cautiously though!! I can't guarantee a perfect fit. I recommend speaking with a knowledgeable tire guy who owns a shop with resources like Vossen and RS*R reps available to answer all questions. Even my tire guy couldn't totally guarantee it for me, but it just worked out!

And I haven't tried a fully loaded car for rubbing yet... Maybe IntegresS or RastaRacer can help answer that for you since they also have RS*R springs/coilovers.

Here's IntegresS' thread on RS*R springs. Some very helpful information.

My question is can you get away for super down springs and go with 19" wheels?

I think that depends on a few things: offset, tire size, etc.

Check out this thread. It discusses RS*R Super Down vs. Down springs and what works and what doesn't work:
