I Survived the Wait!!!

Oh nice. Same color combo an accessories except I also ordered the radar cruise control and vgrs. I am diligently waiting but as time goes by, almost 2 months in, 2 more to go, and as I keep seeing more posts like this of other owners getting their cars, the less I want mine. Must be envy is greater than desire.

Alrighty then, got the car, I'm a happy camper.
Some pictures of course:
Next to my old IS... it will be missed
Leaving the dealership
So lonely....
And finally home
I gotta say I will miss the 2IS and would have definitely kept it if I could but we must move on... As far as the 3IS goes, it's a totally different experience, specially the gas and brake pedals I have to get used to them and the steering is very nice, it's a different world from the 2IS. It is way more comfortable too, and the ride itself is much better as well.
I didn't get to play too much with it yet but it has some really neat features that both my wife and I really liked. For example, you can change the color of the needle in the cluster... cool.... and being able to have text msgs read to you etc etc... in a simple word, nice!
I will do a proper photoshoot in the next few days (hopefully) and then post some better pictures too.

I tried driving it in "Eco" mode and..... not happening, I just can't do it or at least it will take a lot of getting used to if I use it. S/S+ mode is the sheezzkabob

The ultra white color looks very sharp, even more so at night! A great choice of color. I was going back and forth between Ultra white and nebula gray, and I ended up choosing nebula gray. Oh well, I might go with ultra white on my next Lexus if that color is available. Nothing wrong with nebula gray as I love my car.

Great pics. Congrats on receiving your new car. My wait continues as i was just told that my car is delayed in Port for some reason. My Dealer's Sales manager is in the process of contacting the Port in order to find out the story.

What port? My dealer told me yesterday my car is still at NY port awaiting to be processed, been there for a week now. They're still waiting for a truck delivery date once processed. Coming to dealer in PA.

Yes it is the Port of NY. The ship arrived on the 15th. My dealer has received other cars from this ship already but others are delayed. We are both in the same situation.

Also don't forget you have the port installed options. That is part of the process. Mine got to Long Beach port on 10/7 still hasn't made it here to Texas yet.

Just lovely, I think I handled the 9 month wait for my 1st child better than this 3-4 month wait, it's killing me.
