Never said I bought at magnussen tho ;-) I just happened to stop by last week to see what they were offering. I brought my best price to them and they didn't bother to match. Just relaying what they told me.

Buy it from Stevens Creek, free valet at ValleyFair for the rest of the year. Useless though as I won't let anyone valet my car unless absolutely necessary.

Ask your dealer, its info they should be transparent about and can easily query using their Lexus application.

Here's the october production / november delivery. This was a summary and I believe it was not 100% accurate because there are some models that are being built with VGRS, but according to this, none have VGRS (notice there is no "GR")

UW/RR is the most popular build combo (38 units for the month of November, but keep in mind this is for ~30 dealerships on the west coast that share the Long Beach delivery port). That's why some dealerships get none

Port Date of 11/3 and should be at the dealership 5-8 days after that... Can't wait!!!

Congratz! Did you ever have status of "locked"? At what point?

not sure exactly. I didn't ask my rep that detail. He just told me the date when it gets into port and the ETA of when it will get to the dealer.. i'll definitely ask him when its closer to port date.

Thanks. I can't get any info from my dealer. All they tell me is it's "locked" waiting to be built but they don't provide any date when it will be built.

did you custom order yours? mine was not really "custom ordered".. they just found me a car for the november delivery that fits what I want in my car, so it is not built to order per se.

Yes. It was special ordered. They couldn't find anything that fit my spec.

Both. If you talk to your sales guy ask him where in the process is when your order is locked. I ordered mine on 9/23 and it's been ~2 weeks since order has been locked.

I ordered both of those options as well with my special order but the order was confirmed on May 20th with no issue. Granted I am just now awaiting delivery from port. I will ask my dealer about the locked status when I see him early next week.

Thanks. Even though my order was placed on 9/23 it was confirmed and locked status was put on before the 10/20 so I'm not so sure if that 20th rule is applicable always. Otherwise I would have expected to be able to change anything on my order without delaying my delivery.
