Where to jack up the rear?

Don't worry. I'm not taking anything negatively. I appreciate your information on this as it seems you've put some thought into it.
I was doing some reading and some state that for the jack stand you can just use the normal stand that looks like a claw and it would be fine. Also 6 ton HF jack stand has a notch in the stand.

I'm more interested in finding an adapter for the floor jack itself. Not sure which one will work the best out of those I posted.

i have the jackstands from hf that have the notch in them already, but i do not like it's design so i dont use it.
the elevated ridges are spread farther apart than the regular scissor jacks mating surface, and also, all the weight of that corner is getting placed on those elevated ridges....
disclaimer:those ridges are good for cars that actually have rails in which you can place the jack stands under, because it straddles the rails for more security.
so i thought, what if i just grind down those elevated ridges? thing is, i do have a truck that has beams/rails as jackstand points as opposed to that pinch/seam. so now i gotta source another set of jackstands and mod them.
you could grind down those ridges and that would give you a better weight distribution upon the jackstand...
however, even before the modification i dont think the recess of the jackstands is enough to accommodate the pinch/seam

I can't believe there isn't a one good solution to use the floor jacks by the rocker panel on these unibody cars.
