My car was built 9/16 and arrived at Long Beach on 10/7. Dealer says another couple of weeks. Your car might get built this week or next week. After it is built you can ask your salesperson for the "Vehicle Inquiry Report." That will tell you what boat it is on and track it that way. Once it hits the US you can't track it and you are at the mercy of customs, trains and trucks to your dealer lot.
Your dealer might be able to give you your build date. My timeline is in my signature.

I called my dealership, because my sales guy quit Lexus and they told me my order is "locked" which means I can't change anything. But fortunately Paint Protection Film I wanted to remove is port installed option and can be cancelled any time before they put the car on the rail per the dealer.
So... I'm not even sure if my order has been confirmed for real and it will be built soon!
Also didn't you get someone else's order? I thought you mentioned that. Your timeline seems very much shorter at every step compared to what I read from others on this forum.

Thanks. I hope it will be build soon but there were some comments about if my car was even "confirmed" by Lexus on this site since people were saying they do it at the 20th of each month which means my car hasn't even been confirmed.

My wait will be over shortly. I have been told that my car has the official status in the system of being in port. Hopefully the processing is fast and I will have it in a few days. It has been an arduous 5 months and I cannot wait to see the new baby and join the ranks of an official 3rd generation IS driver.

+1 . . . . . It would take plenty of effort for someone to explain that long of a wait to me. I mean I am at wits end here with my wait, which has been 2 1/2 months. I couldn't imagine 5 months.
