Brake noise??
Hey guys,
I have a 2014 IS250 F Sport, with a little over 4k miles on it (I drive a lot). But the question/issue: When I pull out my garage in the morning for work, as the wheels turn over and hit a certain spot, I can hear a squel or whinning sound and it seems like its coming from the brake area. Any idea what this could be? It's not a constant grind noise, just a couple times as the car rolls out the garage.
I had a 2nd Gen IS250 as well, and it did the exact same thing. When I brought it into the dealer to have them look at it, they said I needed new brakes...I can't POSSIBLY need new brakes on a brand new car already! Any insight?!
Thanks.

Atleast i'm not the only person lol. But with this, I'm not touching the brakes at all. I put it into drive and just let it roll out...no gas, no brakes. And its significantly loud, I think my neighbor across the street could hear me pulling out

does it still happen when brakes are warm? Its a bit odd that the noise is happening with no brakes applied though... can you easily repro it for the dealer? If yes, i would bring it in for them to take a look at. If after they are warm though and the palm disappears, i wouldn't worry too much.

If it's only doing it when the brakes are cold it's probably normal. Almost every car I've ever owned had the same problem, even with brand new pads. The C63 was the worst and I'd almost always get brake squeal during low pressure application at low speeds. Just a by-product of the pads/rotors being used I guess.
