Default Whats the story with remote start?

I was told it wasn't an option and now I am seeing it on the Lexus site as a $499 option. Can anyone clarify this?

Check out this thread:

Basically, there are conflicting reports. Some say, for US models, there may be a potential conflict with installing remote start on vehicles with navigation. However, Apexer's F-Sport with Nav had the factory remote start installed himself without issue. Best bet would be to post on that thread for more info. I'm willing to believe that if Apexer got his working, so can you, but he mentions that some of the wire harnesses may be different depending on model/package configurations. If you're ordering from the factory, then I'd guess that if Lexus lets you order it, they'll be able to make it.
