Success! Actually took longer to swap the rings than switch the button. Thanks for the DIY.

Will this still work when the battery in the key is dead and you have to hold it up to the button?

Honestly thought it was gonna be a take the whole dash apart to install a start button but what do you know, just small section out and bang, access to the button

Looks great. I would consider this upgrade as well but my OCD would kick in looking at the green light verus the white lighting in my I350.

I am interested to knew this as well, any update?

And, was the OP able to change the backlighting to white?

Nice job to the OP and the other member. Like someone else said, if it were cheaper, I'd buy it. I'd rather get a vinyl wrap or Chrome delete job

Default DIY TRD START / STOP Button

TRD start / stop button installed today. For me it was harder getting the damn cluster bezel off than swapping out the trim ring around the actual button itself.

Thanks again to JDM Nigel for the hook up, took a few weeks - but was worth it. Thanks again.
