Inside I prefer the ATS in every way but the gauge cluster. That 1990 era Buick styled gauge cluster with the half-moon speedometer is just terrible, especially in a sport sedan. At least in the CTS and XTS you can get the CUE virtual gauges which are better, no option in the ATS though.

Compared to the 250 I might get the ATS, but not compared to the 350.
Gauge cluster in the ATS is horrible and not impressed with the QUE system.

The CUE isn't so bad when you spend some time with it. I extensively drove an XTS with it and I don't dislike it.

But yes, ATS gauge cluster is terrible,

I would agree. The IS350 is better than the 3.6 ATS IMHO, unless you equip the ATS with the magnaride shocks which sends the price in to the stratosphere. The 2.0 though gives a lot more than the IS250, for not much more in price, notably 70 ft-lbs of torque.

the ATS 2.0 also offers you a manual if desired.

Note that the 2.0T ATS can be ordered without CUE. The base trim offers fake leather, standard gauge cluster, with both Nav and sunroof as stand alone options. Several people I know have chosen to order this configuration with the manual transmission, as the best bang for buck model. Cadillac's packaging is much more flexible in terms of options.
