Did any of you compare your IS350 F Sport to the Q50s before buying

So to update my own thread, I finally went and drove the Q50S today. In a word: underwhelmed. Sure, i like the styling inside and out, but the interior space actually felt smaller than the IS and the trunk was definitely smaller. Once I started driving it, the feeling I had the whole time was just "meh". It never felt particularly fast and I just didn't feel very connected to the car or road, and this was a model w/o the steer-by-wire. It also had the shortest first two gears I've ever seen. It shifts way too much between 0-40mph.
So yeah, went back to the Lexus dealer just to have an immediate comparison, and the IS really is the better car. Spoke numbers and I think I'll be going in on Monday to finalize our deal.

So I am also in the market for a new car. I'm going from a Mazda 6 to either Lexus or Infiniti. I test drove both the Q50 premium and Q50 Sport first. The Infiniti provided a pretty good drive, especially the Q50S. The tech in the car is definitely next gen, though I have been hearing about a lot of issues with it. I left the Infiniti dealership thinking the Q50S might be the car for me. A couple days later I test drove the IS 350 F and was blown away. It's just something about the way it handles and how smooth the transmission is. The IS also felt a bit more comfortable to sit in and drive, the seats felt made for touring. I'm in sales and I drive across two states a LOT, visiting customers. I need a car that's fun to drive and that feels great to handle over long trips. Decided the IS 350 F is the car for me. now to just find a dealer in the Southeast who will sell below msrp.
