Default Cupholders on Lower Part of Front Doors?

Does anyone know if there are cupholders on the lower part of the front doors, as on some other Lexus models?

The brochure and website are HORRIBLE and I can't seem to find pictures of same.

Thank you!

Yes, there are cup/bottle holders in the front doors.

Bottle holders, yes. I wouldn't put a cup there.

Great! Thanks, gentlemen!

Puts me at ease regarding the poorly designed cup holders on the center arm rest (likely to make front passengers uncomfortable), which I wish were in front of the shifter, as on most other cars (even 'driver oriented' BMW's).

Not to mention that if you do have a cup in the arm rest it completely blocks you from comfortably using the mouse.

Yeah, I use the rear one. Definitely an improvement, but my elbow is still knocking it.

Here's a shot. There's even a symbol imprinted on the door designating the cup. Oh, and not an issue for me with the cup holder design in the center armrest, unless a passenger is there of course which is rare in my case.

Wow, they really cheapened that feature compared to the 2IS which had a nice folding out pocket that held a bottle and/or a sheaf of papers/maps. I have a manila folder that holds all my travel reservations when we travel that fits perfectly in the folding pocket of a 2IS.

True, and I do miss that from my 2IS but the nice fold-out pocket didn't make the car win any contests against its competitors. The 3IS' R&D focus was performance with a coddling sporty cockpit and majority of journalists are unanimous the 3IS is for the first time in its history, the class benchmark ousting the 3-series.

Funny...I was perusing the mbusa.com and bmwusa.com web sites recently and both companies used the word "cockpit" loosely shall I say to describe their respective interiors. But hands down the 3IS is the epitome of a cockpit!
