Would this be a good comparison? I know CLA45 AMG isn't out yet but it will be soon and I think it might be targeting the same customers. From what I've seen, I just don't care for the interior of the CLA45 AMG. Looking forward to hear what you think.

Seems close but I would consider a AMG model Mercedes on level with a ISF. Not just because of horsepower/price. You can go to any Lexus dealer and see a 350 on the lot but that is not true with an AMG model or ISF. They still have that "rarity" to them.

I much more prefer the current C Class bodystyle compared to that one.

I thought I read that starting price on the CLA 45 would be some where in the $40k. I'm sure it'll go to high $50k with all the options.

Exterior doesn't look that bad but interior is not so pleasing. But it's 4 cylinder turbo that does 355hp and 4.5 seconds 0-60 and gets 34 MPG.

When you look at the concept of CLA (interior & exterior), you don't want to buy the current CLA45. The CLA45 is almost $20K over the 3IS F Sport.

CLA is based on the FWD A class hatchback. It's interior volume and quality will lag behind the Lexus IS even though the engine is tempting. The most direct competitor will be the the Audi S3 and the VW Golf R.

There will of course be concerns how a small 2L high compression turbo will hold up in the longterm.
