The pursuit of F
It all started when my dad owned our first Toyota, an 87 Camry and since then, no turning back as the seed was planted on experiencing true quality and reliability in a car, and that seed resulted in 17 Toyota/Lexus cars owned since then between my parents, brother, and I. When the LS hit our world in '89, as a young teen, I was awestruck, let alone the automotive community. Remember the wine glass and the metal ball panel gap commercials, the car magazine road tests showcasing the unprecedented NVH levels, fit, finish, silky V8 power, and reliability? How could an automobile so finely crafted at a fraction of the cost make the top Benz, BMWs, Jags, and Audis look and feel so unrefined in comparison? Quality in cars have increased across all manufacturers today because of Mr. Toyoda. I was hooked and since then, it's been a relentless passion towards Toyota and in particular Lexus automobiles. Thank you Mr. Toyoda for literally shaping my life RIP.
