If I'm driving with my Bluetooth audio paused (using the play/pause button on the dash) and I answer a phone call or have a text message read to me, then my paused music immediately starts playing again and I have to re-pause it. Does anybody know a setting to fix this? Or is it just a bug/"feature"?

I have a feeling it's a bit buggy. My Bluetooth audio works fine one minute and just stops the next, whilst the hands free is always ok.

I've tried everything to get the message/email facility to work without success using me iPhone. What phone are you using? It's driving me nuts!!

But I love the car sooo much.

just disconnected my phone from the Lexus system altogether. Every time i hang up after getting a call, the system doesn't recognize the call has ended so it mutes the whole system until restart

I finally managed to receive a few texts, but before I got too excited the whole Bluetooth connection dropped and has yet to reappear. I'm going to raise it with my dealer. We've paid good money for this functionality and it should work. I appreciate these are teething problems and don't retract too much from the great driving experience but Lexus need to get to work on some bug fixing updates.

I wonder what will happen when the new Apple operating system hits the streets later this week?!

For people with iPhones trying to get the text message system to work, these are the steps are your phone:

1) Go to Settings
2) Go to Bluetooth
3) Under Devices choose LEXUS IS
4) Turn On Show Notifications

I like that it reads them to me, and it cracks me up that it reads "" as "Smiley Happy", but the resuming audio thing is super annoying. Not to mention that if my phone ringer is on it plays both the Lexus message tone and my phone message sound -- which, by the way, is insanely loud if you keep your phone volume at full so you can maximize how you use the car audio.

Thanks for spelling out the steps needed, unfortunately despite following them I've only managed to see texts coming in once, and never for e mails!

Emails don't work with iPhone for now but maybe with ios7 when it comes out on Wednesday.

FWIW, I'm only getting text messages as well, but I don't actually want e-mails so that's fine by me

Albino1, Is it working for you 100% or does it come in and out? Did you unpair and repair etc etc? Thanks.

As far as I can tell every text message is coming through, but I drive a very small commute, so there hasn't been enough to say definitively. I'll they stop working I'll definitely mention it though.
