Dealer: They are not making it with the Mark Levinson anymore.

Me: I see in your inventory that there is an MSRP $48k F sport, Nav, ML Audio and VGRS. I also see Mark Levinson as an option to build out a Lexus website.

Dealer: That vehicle is not in our inventory. It may be a unit we received prior that has been sold. The original build on the F-sport had the Mark Levinson but that is no longer the case.

Is this true?

You can certainly still make a custom order for an IS with ML, which is what I just did. The dealer probably doesn't have one in its inventory and doesn't expect one to come in for some time (or ever, without a custom order), so they might be trying to encourage you to look at non-ML options.

I would say the same thing. The dealer is trying to sell in stock models. Mark Levinson is not a very popular option in the IS and there will be very few around. I ordered as well.

Heard the same story 3 years ago when I was looking for the IS350C I used to own. Had a very hard time finding one with ML. Appears the ML stereo is an option many people just do without. Not me!

they might be pushing you to buy a vehicle on the lot. I get bored and check the local inventory once in a while and many of the F Sport 350s have Navi/ML

I'm searching other dealership inventory and it looks like they all share the same one so maybe this particular dealer doesn't have it on their lot... because I'm seeing a good amount of 350's with ML in their system...

go to another dealer... they are trying to sell you what they have in stock.

I posted here a month or so ago that a dealer told me that the initial configuration was a "limited edition build" with the VGRS and ML (although no one else here had ever heard or seen that). And I can see that the standard issue stock IS from this point forward may no longer come with ML, but as others have said I'm sure you can always order it.

One thing I found in my quest to order is that dealers seem to loathe ordering cars. Clearly they seem to have a much bigger incentive to sell existing inventory.

But after checking the online Lexus inventory, there appears to be plenty in my area with ML.
