DK206,

I got mine at Lexus of Bellevue, here are my numbers.

IS350 AWD $41,700
F-Sport $3180
Navigation $2085
Blind Spot Monitor $600
Destination $895
Cargo Net $64
Rear Bumper Applique $76
Wheel Locks $73
Total MSRP $48,763

Lexus of Bellevue Add-ons
LoJack $795
ProTrim $499
Clear Bra $1199

That puts the total MSRP at $51,256

I was right at $54,500 out the door. If you back out the $1000 I saved in sales tax, that would have put it at $55,500 out the door.

Back out the License fee of about $250, then remove the sales tax and the number I paid before all that was about $800 below the total MSRP/Add-on price.

Could I have done better? Maybe, but I doubt it. The 2014 IS's had only been out about 2 weeks at the time and they only had a couple in stock. Fortunately the one they had was exactly what I wanted (except for the LoJack and ProTrim crap). I happy with the price I got. And I love the car.

Why do you need LoJack on a car that lexus can most likely disable through enform?

It's like putting LoJack on a Chevy with on star.

Not hating on you just curious why the dealer would add that ?

Because the dealer can make about $500 dollars on somethig that is only really worth $200, if that much. And that is on a car which does not have a monitor service (OnStar, Enform, etc.)

I agree, I didn't want it on there but LoB puts it on all their cars. One benefit to it is that I don't plan on paying for Enform after the 1 year trial period, so I have some protection there. I think you have to have the LoJack battery serviced every few years for $99. And there is the advantage of the police being notified immediately when you call to report the car stolen, as opposed the Enform where you have to file a Police report before they'll look for the car.

Will I ever need it, probably not.

DK206,
I special-ordered mine as well:

IS350 AWD - $41,700
F-Sport - $3180
BSM - $600
Nav w/ Mark Lev - $3225

Total MSRP - $48,705

The only other options I could have ordered were the Radar Cruise Control and the accessories (trunk mat, wheel locks, cargo net, rear bumper applique) - all of which I declined.

I was able to negotiate $1800 off (after numerous dealer visits). OTD will be just under $50k after everything.

FYI, usually with things like LoJack where the dealer has it pre-installed if you insist on not paying for it they will either remove it or just give it to you.

Technically it was 50974$ otd. You can't really count a trade on this post. People are curious what others are getting on actual IS cost.

I got the same trim and options. No need for LoJack when you have the Nav, so I did not do it. MSRP was the same 48,763 but I used an old classic tactic. Go in at the end of a month and make two dealers bid against each other. I got them down to 45,600. With trade in plus some more goodies and tax I was out the door at 36,700.

Like most current 3IS owners, I was only able to get $1800 off MSRP. That was better than the COSTCO and USAA discount. I'm still happy.
