I never got a trunk mat. And when I tried to order one my dealer said that the carpeted trunk mat was not available, only the rubber one in Canada.

On IS350 F Sport:
1. Navigation is so small
2. No memory seats
3. Suppose to have 19" wheels instead of 18"
4. Same old engine
5. No fog light in front
6. No power mirror
7. USB must be in horizontal not vertical side (plug in usb, console not close)
8. No red caliper
9. The back bumper look ugly
10. No backseat power shade

Small things can make big sale.

Oh we are so aware of what it doesn't have thanks to the dedicated efforts of the 3IS sucks crowd. Can you tell me what it does have that no other car at this price point has? Hint: I spent the weekend driving Hwy 1 between Cambria and Big Sur. Know the road? I had a blast and am amazed at the tech and engineering put into the ride/handling. Hit 105 going through a few curves in Sport+ (early morning -- no traffic on the 2 lane) but slowed down out of fear of some small animal crossing the road.

What a driving machine!!!

Want a cool fanny, a rear shade, 429hp, and a bunch of tech -- buy a Genesis -- there's nothing for you here. But do be aware that your cooled fanny will be sliding on the flat drivers seat as the boat rolls through curves. This car is a throw back to when cars were meant to be driven and had a fun factor rather than a pamper factor.

Go back to them, show them my post and the brochure - you are entitled to it as standard equipment.

^^^ Has to be Dry or Canadian, but I can settle for BL

On the topic at hand, another "discovery". On my 2IS, I recall that when you went in manual (S) mode above a minimum speed, the transmission would always set the gear to 4th. That was annoying when you're at highway speed and engine revs unnecessarily.

On the 3IS, the gear is placed in a position that matches the speed so on the highway for instance, it would start in 6th (not 4th). Nice improvement despite the transmission hardware on the 3IS AWD being identical to the 2IS (obviously the software has been updated)

Technically it is $266k Singaporean dollar, which is about $207k USD, which is still pretty crazy, there must be some ridiculous import taxes or something. I know Singaporeans make more money than Americans per capita, but over $200k for a $50k car is just crazy.

Not all is standard, but you can get EVERYTHING to your IS F-sport in Sweden. Except moon roof.
About 27'000 USD gets you a fully equipped IS250 F-sport.

Are you sure you are referring to the spec of IS in Singapore?

According to Leuxs Singapore web site, IS comes in 3 trims - IS250, IS250 F Sport and IS300h.

http://www.lexus.com.sg/en/models/is...specifications

In Singapore,

front fog light is only available in regular IS. Rear sunshade is not an option for all trims. There is only one package --- luxury package, and it is exclusive to is300h (probably due to higher expected demand there) .

It is not a surprise to see F Sport comes with leather, ventilated and heated seat with memory as standard equipment because of higher price tag and the way Lexus markets the car there. Similar case in Hong Kong (F Sport has similar standard equipment but in IS350 F Sport only. No IS250 or IS300h F Sport)

Finally, LED headlamps are standard in all trims (IS250, IS250 F Sport and IS300h).

I also found that the USB sitck has to have a cord attaced to it, if you want to be able to close the lid on the storage.

Strange that there is such a big difference between two neighbouring countries in trim level.
In norway we can get almost everything to the IS F-sport, except for the rear sunshade and cross traffick alert.
I've got a moon roof on mine.

Yes, that is really odd. I believe people in Sweden and Norway have equal demands on their cars. Why not the same equipment then?
