However, if you are referring to the automatic high beam, then only IS equipped with LED headlamps have this feature. For other markets, automatic high beam is available with HID headlamps but not in North America.

If you are referring to the AFS (adaptive front light system - the light that turns when you make turns) that is available in 2IS or some other Lexus vehicles, such as the current GS, then AFS is not available to IS at all (regardless of countries).

isnt this the "AFS"? http://www.lexus.ca/lexus/experience...1D2V&year=2014
whats smart stop tech? i read it but still dont understand
Smart Stop Technology
This system is designed to automatically reduce engine power when the brake pedal is firmly applied, even if the accelerator pedal is fully pressed down.
For additional peace of mind, this safety feature is designed to automatically reduce engine power when the driver is pressing down the accelerator and brake pedals at the same time under certain conditions. When the brake pedal is released, the Smart Stop Technology disengages. The feature does not engage if the brake pedal is pressed before the accelerator.1
[1]Smart Stop Technology operates only in the event of certain simultaneous brake and gas pedal applications. When engaged, the system will reduce engine power to help the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver input can all impact stopping distance. Smart Stop Technology is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving and does not guarantee instant stopping. Please see your Owner's Manual for further details.
