Any reason not to get red interior?

A mustang has every single panel red. The IS does not. My next car build is actually going to be a Black 65 Fastback with Red interior.

I like the red interior, but I ultimately chose black. I wouldn't mind having a little red in there, such as the sticthing on the floor mats and shifter or door panels, however I personally didn't want to look at that much red every day. Good luck in your decision! Whichever you choose I'm sure it will look great!

I was always a black interior person but so over black, unless you are going to modify the vehicle where a black interior is easier and lets you have more options to modify. If you are leaving your interior stock, red is the way to go for me, its a lovely hue and lively!!!

Only reason I can think of is it might be too awesome
For me I've had black interiors many times, I love the uniqueness of the red...thats what I would get if I got an IS. Same reason I got the flaxen on the GS, I would have gotten the cabernet if it had been available on the Luxury model.
I'm very happy to see Lexus taking some chances with interiors other than black, grey & tan. Now we just gotta get them working on the exterior colors some.

I considered red as my second choice behind black (on Obsidian), but only if there was a delay getting black. My concern with red is that it's not for everyone, so it could hurt the resale value (although at this point I don't know if I'll ever want to sell). Not every man can pull off a red leather interior, you know.

Lastly, I date women who are around my age group, and this is another reason why I prefer black to look mature.

lol, well I'm in my 30s, and I visit the homes of some high net-worth patients (or clients - however you want to call it) That's why I prefer black - to look mature while remain sporty.

I am in my 40's and own my own business. I buy what I want for myself and could really care less of what people may think. Let them think I am having a mid life crisis...haha

I wanted Flaxen originally but since it wasnt available and Fsport interior options are LIMITED, I am thinking red. Red because it IS more lively, exciting than all black (or gray). I have had all black interior before and I wanted something different. I thought about the manliness factor but its actually black/red and really IDGAF, im married anyway. Black may look more mature but that doesn't mean red is immature. Two tone seats (red/black) would have been cool though!
