I currently have a '09 IS350 and the front footwell lights stay on during driving. Is this the case with the '14 IS? If so, if I were to go with K-Spec 6 or 9 LED everywhere but the footwell would this look odd? I would most likely go with the LP4 for the footwell. Thanks in advance.
I do miss the footwell lights in the 2IS.

Here is the trunk light!
It is very tight and easy to break it(see photos in above link). That is why this Japanese LED seller provide the whole replacement trunk light set.
I did break mine and have to buy a new one (clear body only) from Sewell (usd14)

Actually I am thinking of retrofitting the trunk light assembly from 2IS to 3IS as the 2IS trunk light has a on/off switch. The trunk light in 2IS is easy to be taken off from the trunk without breaking as I tried to pull it out many times. I made some attempts to take out the one in 3IS in the showroom as I wanted to find out if the 2IS one would work or not. It was too tight as so I gave up the thought. Don't want to break something in a showroom car.
Actually if you do break the trunk light assembly, you may try to figure out if the 2IS trunk light assembly would work or not since the part costs the same, at least from Sewell web site. Note the light bulb will be different as the 2IS one uses double headed.

We are running this LED package:

And we also upgrade the door courtesy lights and front footwell lights to a brighter LED setup.
If you would like use our current setup on our 2014 IS, you can contact us via PM or email for more details
Thanks!

Here are some more comparison pics. These lights are a lot brighter than stock.
The footwell is K-Spec 6 LED
The courtesy is K-Spec 9 LED.
I have yet to get pics of the reverse light and still need to install the passenger side. Am worried to install the trunk light since someone broke their's and I couldn't pry it open easily.
Will post more pics when I get them.
