Very keen observation! Point well taken. I actually did not realize that I worded it in such a way.

Speaking of differences between IS350 F-sport and non. Does anyone have a pic of HID headlight vs LED headlights? And is one brighter than the other???
On the side note, it appears Acura and Audi is adopting the LED headlight trend moving forward.

I'm getting the F-sport mainly for the Red Leather interior. Drool. After seeing the LFA "inspired" gauges in person, it seems there are some dead space surrounding the lcd gauge, aside from service lights. This made me feel like it was an after thought, but a welcome one.

Well, I took the FSport 350 for a spin and......HOT DAMN!!! I'm sold on the FSport version. I was surprised at how much better the acceleration was on the FSport. I though the non FSport 350 RWD had the same engine. Anyhoo it's time to configure the beast!

IMO, the car shifts way too soon in automatic. All the power comes later on so if it shifts "early", you're not going to feel all the power the car has to give. Sport+ probably tweaks this setting to shift later, which is why the F-sport feels faster than the base.

Overall, this was a big issue for myself. I felt like the F sport lacked all the standard features of a luxury car. Memory seats, car sensors, leather seats, etc. Ultimately, I picked the F sport because of the gauge. I feel in love with it. If you feel confident that Lexus will allow the gauge to be bought aftermarket, i would definitely recommend the 350 over the f sport.
