My Lexus exclusive dealar in saudi Arabia says that I am Number one on the waiting list, but they still didn't give me an exact date!

Do not feel bad. You are not alone in waiting. My special order went in on May 17th and I am still waiting for a confirmation that the car has been built. I am about 4 weeks to delivery from that point.

You are only 8 weeks in at this point, and it seems most Lexus special orders take 3.5-4 months. So you may have another 3-4 weeks before it's built and another 3-4 weeks after that for shipping/delivery.

Have you at least gotten a real official confirmation that Lexus has accepted/processed your order??

I ordered in mid-May as well, and am probably still 10 days away, here in Northern Ireland.

The delay is specifically because I chose black interior over light; light interiors are already available.

My dealer informed me that day that the order had been accepted into the system and their Lexus Rep double checked the following Monday as it was May 20th andvthey were pushing everything through and confirming so the order was not pushed out until June 20th. Their Rep told them that it would be 3 months.

Were you given a printout of any kind with your build/options, etc at the time you placed the order?

I was not given a printout because pricing had not been set for all of the options at that time.
