I had a professional in to do it. I researched the DIY, but concluded it's not worth it. Even though it was a brand new garage, pro still acid washes the floor for better adhesion. I didn't want to mess it up just to save a few $$. Then only to have a pro in anyways to clean up my mess and charge me more in the long run.

I agree. Now it is just to find someone local that is good at what they do. How long has it last and is there any special maintenance?

I've had it about 3 years. I just wash/clean it like my indoor ceramic flooring. It's still in very good condition, but I can see it needing to be redone in another couple years. I think they gave a 5 year guarantee.

Being that it is a new concrete floor, all you would have to do is sweep and vacuum it. The concrete does not need any etching or shot blasting as this product is designed to bond. It takes about 8 hours to dry enough to recoat at 75 degrees. It can handle foot traffic in 24 hours and cars in 72 hours.
Any product that you put down will need to keep cars off for a few days in order to let the product cure through to be hard enough to resist being softened by hot tires..
Any of the products that will cure quicker are also extremely labor intensive as they are multi component products and have very short working times.
Feel free to pm me for any other information.
