How are you going to deal with the front license plate on F-sport? (Merged Threads)

Okay, I think that I found the black license plate frame & the smoke (gray) license plate guard that you are referring to:
Plastic Black License Plate Frames, 2-pk
Product #37-2374-2

License Plate Guard, Smoke
Product #37-7498-8

Thanks for all the information. I am going to see if I can find similar products down in the U.S.
I am surprised that you only used 2 zip ties though - I thought you would need 4 due to the four holes in the frame & guard. Maybe your 2 zip ties were extra long so that each passed through 2 holes (top to bottom)?

Thank you very much - I'm totally gonna mount mine in the same position!! Do you have any close-up pics that show how you mounted it with zip ties?
Also, had another thought - are there any sensors in that lower area that this mounting position could possibly interfere with, such as for park assist, radar cruise control / precollision, lane departure alert, etc.?

Front License Plate
I live in Wisconsin where 2 plates are required. I have not had a front plate on any of my cars since 1998 and have not been pulled over once. Granted the days of driving at 2:00 am are behind me but the point is, unless there's a reason, they probably will leave you alone especially if it is a car that the front plate would damage. I keep mine in the trunk just in case.

Appreciate the 'creativity' of some.
In my case, I will / have taken the chance on several cars I currently own. I'll pay the $42. ticket in NJ - chances are if I get stopped - it won't be for the plate - but surely the plate missing would be an add-on.
I can pay a few tickets before I would break-even in buying a mount and dealing with it still is not the right solution.
Those who have mounted the plate lower seems to be a nice trade-off vs. the mfg. designated location.

What do you consider high speed? I've only hit around 80 mph tops and I haven't had a problem with the kit so far. Also, the kit has a tight build so there isn't a lot of room for the license plate bracket to wiggle; it would take a lot of force for the bracket to hit the bumper.

I think this could be the license plate bracket that you have, they just do not have a picture posted up for it.

Using tow hook mount make it looks so off and out of balance. Don't like it at all.
