Haven't posted an update for awhile now since I've been away for quite some time.

Have had the car since July 17 of 2013, have passed plenty of cops and, knock on wood, haven't been stopped yet. I also have 20k miles on it since it is my daily so is not like I'm not driving it either. I think they're so used to seeing everyone with front plates that they don't really notice it unless they look hard enough, maybe?

and I've driver all over the NY / NJ area without front plates either and knock on wood have yet to be pulled over and that's with me having my windows tinted as well !!! Yeah , yeah I know I'm probably pushing my luck haaaa !!!One thing though is that if you park your car in NYC on the streets without that front plate ...... them nasty meter guys are gonna drop a ticket for it. I've passed my share of squad cars and though I've gotten looks from the police officers ummmmm none have yet pulled me over YAAAY

I live in NJ and I ran my last car without plates for almost 2 years without getting pulled over. The first time you do get a ticket or a warning that's it you're screwed.
Having said that Im picking up my IS350 next week and I'm going to test out my luck cause the front plate looks awful
