I'm getting sick of people talking badly about this car as if it's an abomination. I mean, look at that last photo in Black. What's wrong with that?
Ok, fine, you don't like the grill, but c'mon, almost every single gad dam car on the road has something odd about it. Why single the IS350 out so much?

Welcome to Club Lexus where a few 2IS owners for all intents and purposes act like trolls. They pop up without fail in critical threads to post something negative about the 3IS. I'd wager none of them have even driven it. I've driven everything from Porches to Jags to Camaros -- you name it -- the 3IS 350 is one heck of a lot of fun to drive -- world class.
I was on the Q50 forum and one of the people used a pejorative to describe the IS. I was amazed how the other members (including a mod) pulled him up on his post and chastised him for not writing more carefully and thoughtfully.
The 3IS is what it is given they had to deliver a world class car for under 50K. The money went into a number of critical performance areas but it didn't go into ventilated seats.
