Hey guys, first time posting here. I actually live in Northern VA and have been searching to get the best deal. Even email dealers in North Carolina and Maryland to see what they can offer.

Anyhow, I came across a dealer in Maryland who has the Base 2014 IS 250 for $38652 but willing to let it go for $33070 + taxes, tags and doc fee.

Keep in mind this is a 2014 but the price is very attractive since there isn't a difference between the 2014 and 2015 model and all the base 2015 here starts at $41225 which is considerably higher for a 2015.
I will be leasing whichever Lexus I decide to get for 24 months, just as a heads up.

Let me know if I should consider this or keep trying to find a 2015 IS250.

Thanks!

If the car indeed qualifies as a new, never titled vehicle, offer $31k - the 2016s are just around the corner. Crunch the numbers - if you can lease it for $80-100 less a month than a comparable 2015, it might be well worth it.

Let us know how it goes - this is interesting.

Alright guys, here's an update. So talked to the dealer with 2014 Lexus IS and they won't do a lower price and they're sticking with $521 a month without telling me why it's so high.... Ridiculous. This is all over the phone by the way.

Anyways so I went to my local dealer here with the thought of hashing out a deal for a 2015 Base Lexus IS 250. The sales person came to $450 a month with 0 down and a 24 month lease. The MSRP was $41227 and I believe the sale price was $39400 with tax and everything included (OTD). But after I asked for it to be $38400 OTD he offered a IS 250 F Sport.

Alright so here it is. IS 250 F Sport with Nav MSRP $45222, I believe he was doing $42K OTD. Not sure on this, didn't give a quote paper to bring home and wouldn't give in case we went to another dealer asking for that price..

Anyhow he said the monthly would be $475 including EVERYTHING. Tax and all fees included. I feel like this is a great deal. The MF used was .00090.

I said I will close the deal tomorrow and needed the night to think. I feel like this is an awesome deal for a F sport with Nav. Let me know what you guys think ASAP.

I have to ask - have you read through some of the deals on this forum? 475 a month is an IS350 payment. Many are getting 250s for around 400 a month.

To give you a better idea, we would need the actual selling price, fees, lease mileage, residual, and any amount due at signing.

Yea I actually read the last 10 pages. It seems I might be able to get a better deal but it does seem pretty close to others for 0 down on a F Sport. Nonetheless I actually plan on taking these numbers to our only other dealer and see if they'll give me a better price. Was very absurd why the sales guy wouldn't give me any numbers since he thought I might take it over to another dealer to beat them. Didn't like that at all.

Yes - a dealer that operates like that would advance to the bottom of my list. I've forgotten - how does VA handle sales tax on leases - do you pay only on the monthly payment or are you taxed on the entire selling price rolled into the lease? If it's the latter that would raise the payment quite a bit.

Good luck on the shopping - keep us posted.

Default Out of State Buying question

I am planning to Buy a 2015 IS 350 RWD from my another state, I want to know if anybody can help me with the below:

Any issues related to:
1.Tax, title & licence
2.Leasing issues - like residency requirements, higher money factor for out of state deals
3.Finance issues - if any

I'm not sure what other issues I might encounter. So, any Tip in this regard is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You need to research your state's dmv regs to see what the requirements are.

Where are you thinking of leasing the car?

New member here.

I just bought a 2015 IS 250 F-Sport AWD this Monday in Seattle, WA. MSRP was $46K. I was able to get it for $43K with .9% APR. Ultra white with black interior. Invoice was $43,350 FYI.

Thanks buddy for the response.

Finally, I have decided to buy in NY state itself, where I stay. I managed to negotiate some real good numbers (in attachment) for New 2015 IS 350 FSport Nebula/Black.

Please take a look at the numbers and advise whether the lease deal is a good one for NY State.

Appreciate all the help that i could get on this.
