Always get as many dealers involved as possible. Start with the Internet Sales department. Negotiate, negotiate, and negotiate. Let us know how you do!
When leasing, do i want a lower or higher residual value?

In most cases, residual value is set by whoever is funding the lease - in this case, probably Lexus Financial - it is not negotiable. Residual value is based on the term and mileage of the lease.

That said, a higher residual helps lower your payment because it reduces the net amount you pay over the term of the lease.

I recommend educating yourself on the intricacies of leasing before entering into negotiations - otherwise your lease might cost you more than it needs to.

Definitely looking at other's post in this thread to gauge what an ideal lease would be. Thanks!

I only offered the recommendation because based on your posts so far, it sounds like you are new to the world of auto leasing. I think you will find you will need to be armed with more information than just others' posts here. If a dealer senses that you don't have a complete understanding of how leases are structured, you will be at a disadvantage in your negotiations.

Hope your search goes well - keep us posted.

I am need of some help with pricing a 2014 White FSport with Roja IS350 with Navi, BSM, & ML. The car is a cpo with 16k miles.

He has the car listed for 42k. What is a reasonable price to pay? WIll the dealer drop the CPO if I ask them?

This is going to be a weekend car so I do not need the CPO the factory warranty will cover me fine do to my low annual mileage.

Thanks

Who says you cannot negotiate on a CPO?? Go ahead and play your negotiations game. Don't let the dealers fool you about not budgeting for CPO's. Research the car's value. Let us know how you make out!

Hey guys!

I've contacted several dealers in so-cal and here is the best offer for the 2015 IS250 base model (back up camera, truck accessories and rear spoiler):

Monthly Payment with tax: (9%) $233.28/month
Drive off: $1200 (bank fees + title etc)
MSRP: 38,548.00
Negotiated Price: $32,500
Residual: 75%
Money factor: 0.00105
Mileage: 12,000
Lease term: 24 months
No down-payment

I'm really hoping to get the same price monthly with more miles...15,000 instead. What does everyone think about the deal?? Sounds good right?

Do you think the quote might have been a typo?
If not, I agree that looks to be a great deal.
A Honda civic as someone mentioned is $199/mo lol
