I paid $46,419 ($1,500 off MSRP) for a 2015 IS350 F-sport, Nebula on black with everything except the Mark Levinson system (Not produced in early 2015 for some reason) or rear sunshade (again, couldn't find one), and with free window tint put on at the dealership.
It came out to right at $50k with tax and the tire/wheel scrape package.

I was offered either $2,000 off MSRP or $1,500 off and the tint. I opted to just go ahead and put tint on the car. I'm very happy with my dealership experience.

Interesting what the 2015's are going for. I got the exact package you have, including dealership tint for $45.6k OTD. Are 2015's really demanding that more of a premium? Seems a tad high no?

For those willing to wait until around Dec, the deals on the 2015s should be similar to yours was on the 2014. I think folks in the market right now would do better trying to locate a suitable 2014 unless there is some reason they have to have the 2015.

Agree. Well said I'm was sort of in the market for a '14 IS-350 F-Sport AWD and decided to wait until December. I think a 2015 with heated steering wheel in New England is a +. Some good deals are expected for those dates. We'll see! But otherwise, if you want a 2014, now's the time!

Soo just bought a '14 IS250 F Sport on Saturday. Complete emotional, unexpected purchase (at least wasn't planning that day, was still early in the process). I'd been doing light research on getting a 2nd vehicle (my daily driver used to be my '13 F150 limited that I wasn't ready to part with) but everything I looked at in the small car segment was very underwhelming. I fell in love with the IS soon as I drove it. Unique, cool, filled with unexpected tech. Anyways heres how it ended up....

2014 IS250 F Sport
Silver/ red
Nav, blind spot
24month/ 15k a year lease
$1200 down, $425 a month

Price paid was like $38k with the .00085 money factor they have going right now.

I've been in the car business for almost ten years and until I decided to take a break 2 months ago (was the General Sales Manager of a Nissan/ Infiniti dealership). With all my friends in the industry never thought I'd just walk in and buy a car. But the car, price and customer service all compelled me to buy. Couldn't be happier!

I think you will be happy you waited Lexi, and yes, that heated steering wheel will be sweet when it's about 10 degrees outside. I'll be watching this market closely - our ES350 has about six month left on the lease.

Glad to hear it's not just us auto laypeople who get caught up in the emotion - haha

Congrats and enjoy - I think you did well and will be quite happy with your new IS!

If your OTD figure includes TTL, I don't think you did bad at all. You got a great car with lots of options for a pretty good price.

Congrats and enjoy your new car!

Yes it includes TTL, good to know I didn't do too bad.

Thanks! Loving it so far.

They keep the 2015 models high in an effort to price the 2014's lower and move them off the lot. Once the 2014s are gone, then the 2015 models will begin dropping in price.

Depreciation also plays a role as well. We all know how much cars depreciate when we drive them off the lot. But they also depreciate slowly even when sitting on the lot. Sure, if you buy a 2015 right now, you'll pay a premium over the 2014. But suppose you had to sell it next week. Mileage and options being equal, the 2015 is going to be worth more on the used car market than the older car. So even though you pay more for a 2015 now, the actual cost of ownership might not be that much higher b/c the newer car is worth more when you sell it.

That said, I'm waiting to see what happens in their big December sales event.

I'm looking to get a leftover 2014 IS350 Luxury model soon and was wondering what sort of deal I can it at this stage? The one that I'm looking at is in the $48K-$48.3K range (depending on how it is equipped). Can I expect to get one at $7K off at this point? I think $6K-$6500 off should be no problems correct?

Also anyone have the latest MF and residuals for 36/12K or 36/10K leases or any special 27 month leases? I'm in SoCal by the way.
